Art of the Flag, (2016 – 2026) This series documents a self-audit through the development of 100 flags over a 10-year period. This provides an intertemporal survey at the plasticity of feelings over a significant timescape to explore identity understanding and shifting.
GrezZine di Pavone, (2020 – 2024) An homage to a film written, directed, and starring contemporary Italian Director, Nanni Moretti, and to Rino Gaetano’s 9th track of his album, Nuntereggae Piu. To be published as a zine, GdPavone is a 20-page open diary comprised of amorphic visualizations, juxtaposed by commentary of anonymous audience members. GdPavone closes the loop between artist, art, and viewer, by embedding the words emoted by art into the art: art as language as art.
Stick Up, (2021 – continuing) This study surrounds the idea of public beautification activities implemented through established authorities and the emergence of competition and interpretability. Stickers exist in the liminal space between art and insult, the freedom to express and enforced silence, the beauty and the beast.
